A Receptionist/Representative (Phone/Virtual) — Service Terms

Effective July 26, 2026 · Genie, Inc., Bellevue, Washington · Questions: receptionist@genieforge.com

1. The service

Genie, Inc. ("we") provides an AI-powered answering service: an automated agent answers calls forwarded to a number we provide, takes messages according to instructions you approve, and delivers summaries by email. The agent is a computer program, not a person, and it discloses that on every call.

2. Billing

3. Your responsibilities — including legal compliance

4. Important limits

5. Liability and disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Genie, Inc.'s total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business from missed or mis-transcribed calls. You agree to indemnify Genie, Inc. against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your failure to meet the responsibilities in Section 3.

6. Data

Call recordings, transcripts, and summaries are processed to deliver the service (including by our infrastructure providers) and retained for a reasonable period. We don't sell your data or your callers' data. Deletion requests: receptionist@genieforge.com.

7. General

These terms are governed by Washington law. We may update them with notice by email; continued use after notice is acceptance. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stand.

Plain-language summary, not a substitute for the terms above: she answers when you can't, you get the morning email, you follow your state's laws about phone calls, neither of us uses her for emergencies, and either of us can end it any month.
